University/College One Stop Centre

BGT ASP

This is the assingment I write down, for all groups and mine

Today is the first day of my BGT ASP which will last for 6 days until next Friday. The class start 9.20am and our instructor is Mr.Mz. As he is the one who taught me B777-200 Gen. Fam. and I know how he is and stated in my previous blog. He start with briefing and than give us assignment. Where he will bring us to the engines but in the mean while, most of all are in bad condition such as fever, flu and cough. So our lecturer phoned our head department and get the permission to go home. So we are home before noon.

We went to Ara Damansara have our lunch before went home. As all of us are sick, so we have all hot meal. My group will be doing Fuel and Ignition. Hehe, maybe will be nice for that engine system. I heard is old engine, CF6 blablabla...

Ben felt like sicking already, so he trying to prevent it hardly...

This is me, my water was cold by the aircond in the room and it make me cough....

Loon is sick, yesterday went to clinic and have some powerfull medician, now seem to cool down.

Ong have ulser in his mouth and pain when open it. So he has a hard time for food.

Finally BGT Ended

Exam room MRO5 which was painted last week and still smell paint.

Finally BGT course ended and the head is loaded and waiting to spread it out again to use in pratical tomorrow. After the BGT will be in the workshop for several weeks than only start back the courses such as Human Factors, Electrical Fundamental and e.t.c. So today went into the exam halls and sit back the place and start exam. Hmm, still ok. Before the exam taken some photos.

So this is me...

The three..... somehow they doing something down there so I just take the up side.

Nokia 5730 XPRESS MUSIC

Nokia 5730 XpressMusic Come with different colours

So today is my last day of my module, tomorrow will be revision and than exam in the afternoon. Taken some time to see new phones which released currently.

What I found was a Nokia 5730 XpressMusic. Previously was Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, which was one of all time favourite handphone with touch screen 3.2". The sales are hot for that handphone with mostly all the functions a phone needed to have. But sadly the new little brother of 5800 does not have what his bro had, touch screen.
It have what his bro does not, the QWERTY keyboard. Not bad with just a price of RRP RM1350 comepare to Nokia 5800 XpressMusic RRP RM1499.

It is to expensive for us student to have such a gadget. Haha not bad if we can know the technology now a days. Maybe it will be more advances coming soon.

Easa Part 66 Module 15

As this two weeks will be my Gas Turbine Engines course, so will be busy somehow, but still able to play tennis in the afternoon.... Luckily is taught by a senior instructor, but I feel somewhere less something. Haha. Teaching kind of fast like rocket as we also understand what he said as we have OJT at MAS for half year plus. So it will be fast teaching. There are 568 pages in the book which must complete in 8 days. It kind of fun but sadly to understand we must have extra references to supports it. Because what we learning are CAT A which is basic and some we don't understand and If we followed that book only, we will be again "boom" by engineers when we get to OJT again.

This is the chapters that will be covered basicaly

This aircraft gas turbine guide is one of the books we use for reference GE, but compare to RR this will be recommend.

This book also good but which what I get is not enough information that we need but very basic and colourfull. In such, what I get from the internet is "We no longer stock this title, due to its lack of suitability to the EASA Part-66 Module 15 syllabus content (compared to its previous edition), and for the reports of poor quality of binding, causing it to fall apart after a short period of use."
"Failing this, if you can get hold of the old (4th) edition of the Rolls Royce - The Jet Engine, from your local or company library, you will find it far more suitable than the 5th edition."

Yamcha

So, nothing to do at night, we planed to go yamcha at somewhere. But in subang dono where to go also. And we end up in Station 1 cafe. Not bad the environment, got people sing songs, some soft games to play such as cards, chess etc. So just order a drink cost me RM8...... Ben orderd something which is blue and a chicken chop. And Adora ordered a milk with honey.

Register Day

So after we register completed, we went to have breakfast, which surprising was we went to dimsum. This is the first time I eat dimsum at KL. o.O So we have no idea and Goo knew there is one dimsum at Sri Petaling and we went there. Not bad all together total is RM50. Not bad because so long we didt have dimsum. We left at 11am and my modules registration is 2.30pm,.

So this is me, with hot donno what chinese tea already.

Ben was so full with dimsum as we like dimsum somehow. hehe

Goo not a rubbish can but is a huge can inside which can contain insane amount/volume of food.

Back to Shah Alam

After reach Pudu station, most people left and now my bag have it own seat.

The old lady infront complain why we not moving stop at Klang for so long to pick up paxs. So what cause the bus to be late arrived at my destination? Is because the paxs are superd late!! Know your time arrived that the whole jungle waiting for a tree to left.

Desperated expression. Haha

Other buses drop and pick have left after we arrived. At Klang Station.

From now on I will post a header with my every post.

So what I can say about public transport is what Jeremy Clarkson said before, it's shit. 10 times I sat bus travel from Penang to Shah Alam vice versa sure got 5 times were shit. My bus travel from 9.15am at Butterworth and arrived at Shah Alam at 3.30pm. What the hell. It will went to Pudu, than Klang, than only to Shah Alam. Waste time moving in the bus.

Penang 11th July 2009 (Updated)

So I am back to Shah Alam and online.

As my friend and I saw in the newspaper showed that there will be many events held at the new Penang Time Square. So we decided to pay a visit. It is a rainy day, somehow is the whole week. My friend be the captain with his armed car and I be the first officer. The captain, Kaiz decided to take the ferry as it more near to our destination and also save fuel. It just after the rain and you can see in the photo how clear is the sky. There are not many car crossing to the island as you can see we head first place and just wait 15 minutes we are in the ferry.

As we closed to komtar beside a bulding which is still building, the signal was so bad even the radio can't sing properly. We used Garmin GPS to help us to lead the way to the Time Square as we are also first time to go. The GPS does it job and we are there, but I saw no shops opened and not even the name is hang on it. That weird. We went to the multistorey parking bay as it only open 2 level which all are dead end because constuction still on going with the new car park. We wasted more than 30 minutes to get out and find a parking.

We headed to the base as the events held there. Sadly just walk one round, 30 minutes we went back to car and left Time Square. The events are so small and crowed like hell where people walk here and there with no purpose. Less than 10 shops operation in the mall. So with desperation we left Time Square and headed to find our lunch which my friend and I want to eat, Sushi King. Very rare we went to Penang Island so we do not know which and where have the restaurant, and the only I remember is QueensBay Mall. So we went there. Sadly again, is full parking. Jamed in the middle more than 40minutes to get out and head back to ferry to went back. Suddenly, we knew we have GPS and it can help us. So we searched with GPS and we found Gurney Mall have Sushi King, that time is already 2.45pm and we direct head to there. Before entering Gurney drive, jam already. What the hell... Can't comments anything because that day is public holiday hahaha.

Miserable Event Ever (solution)

So, as I mentioned at the scene we try out everything and these is it. So when the moment we cannot start the engine, I found that water entered the carburetor from the air filter. So I saw my uncle done it before to let go the water from the carburetor. You see the screw which is plain headed just under the black lever(chock). Unscrew it will drain the fuel in the carburetor to the drain hoist which is black in the picture. So after draining, until the floor shows sign of fuel being drain out, I stopped it. Frankly, you need a torch light with you at night to get help. Luckily my friend phone has one. The motor started and than move on but chocks like hell, when we increase power, the more chocks it have and the slower it move. So we decided to go steady.

As we move until Taman Chai leng, the flooded world, we get ourself into trouble. So after turn back some roads we decided to go with one of the road, but sadly my god the sparks plug went in water and gone. The motor stopped half way in the middle of water. Than my friend had to walk and I had to push the motor back home. As on the way we cannot do anything because there is no places we can hide from the rain to repair. We thought before maybe is ignition.

So today I try to start the motor as I let it dry for one day already. There is fuel injection but no ignition. I change the spraks plug to a new one as my mum get some for me last time. Just changed, it started. The one im using is the CR7HGP, and now I change back to the normal one C6HSA. For information about the sparks plug click here. My mum said because there is too many corbon on the head of the igniter caused it to be down.

Miserable Event Ever

Today 7th July 2009 night, a miserable event took place. The protagonist of the drama is me. My friend came to find me at 7pm and we went to have our dinner at Tenggiri where the delicious Kari Mee located. I had my dinner over with 2 of my friends and one of my friend 's friend. So after that everything go just as planed.

The sky started to shine and shine, giving us some sign of rain going to take it pride, but we think it won't happen and we went to NetZero 1 (cyber cafe) as that is the time my friend free and want to have some fun playing CZ (Condition Zero). We spend there 2 hours, but when 9pm, the sky started to rain, heavily. Such as we can't return home because we come by bike not car. So we waited until 10.30pm where our game ended 10pm. We waited until the rain clam down and we started to move.

When we trying to start the motor, it failed. Some of the guys outside the cafe which I can say I knew them donno who are they got eye contact no words shared, they help me to start but failed. So one of my friend pushed the motorcycle and I sat on it play with the gears, and failed also. We stopped not far and start draining the fuel from the caburator which the filters drank some of the water from the rain. After that the motor alived and started to move but chocks.

As we move not far about 400 meters, everywhere was flooded. I took the less flooded but who knows the water when into my spark plug and game over. I pushed more than 2km to reach my home in a dark night rainning day. What the hell. I donno what to say.

Seafarer Intro Days

Somehow in a forum where I constant see what happens to it and found something very interesting which someone posted. The introduction days of the ALAM new intake currently. As Hazim and I planned before to join as the future in aviation is hard enough, but since get some advise from the elderst and now continue. Some how this induction days are very interesting.

Day 1 - I report at the registry around 2 ++pm N parents are not allow to stay in alam .. You know why ? coz HELL BEGIN !!! The instructor begin with a welcome speech ' good morning to gentlement welcome to alam .. we are about to start our insduction week ..ALL CADETS FRONT SUPPORT POSITION DOWN !!! '

that time i was BLUR ... how come they ask us push up ? i dont even know what is the TRUE meaning of INDUCTION ..
that day i did 50 push up 50 sit up with my formal suit .. =.='

Day 2 - we are devided to few group ..today my group is doing SEA activities..everyone is so excited to go to sea...but everyone didnt know is FULL 1 WEEK HELL .. thought it was just 1 day .. one by one we are 'send' into the deep blue sea ..hahha ... we float on the sea for around half an hour .. i cant stand it ..seasick !!!

1500hrs-1600hrs under the hot sun marching .. i think this is the 1st time i march .. haha .. since high school im so ANTI marching .. is like 1 group of robot walking on the tar road .. lol..

2000hrs tonight we have activites at auditorium .. they ask us to wear formal ..everyone was thinking tonight will be any briefing or what .. but end up the same .. HELL .. ish ~~~ everyone have a task to endure a POST .... im doing shaolin post .. left leg up . .. right hand holding a rod endure for 15 minute . 0100 hrs end.

Day 3 - I cant remember much for today .. but we are wearing yesterday WET CLOTH .. 1300 hrs start marching again .. my skin starts to burn .. few of them faint ... lol

DAY 4 (climax) - 1400 we proceed to port dickson taman reakrasi ... we are asked to build our own camp .. make wooden rack.. and a place to sleep ... after sunset SUPER HELL BEGIN !! activity start around 2200 hrs group2 will go for jungle tracking 1st .. everything is so dark !! i cant even see the person infront of me ..everyone is holding shoulder to shoulder..one stupid guy in my group on his own torch light and because of that we get push up inside the forest .. =.='

Next .. we become SEA TURTLE !! .. we must crawl from a muddy seaside into da sea den sleep there for 15 minute N rolling at the sea N put our head inside the salty sea water DEN only we can come up .. that time was 0030hrs .. very strong wind .. dam cold ..

After that blind folded jungle tracking .. im the leader for this blind folded thingy.. our guide is 1 rope and along the rope there is few check point .. each check point there is few bottle .. small and big bottle .. one of the check point got 2 big bottle .. there is the place that i need to go ... ( im still wearing the muddy wet salty dirty cloth )

THE MOST INTRESTING PART ... For tonight our bed is TAR ROAD wahaha... all those activities end at 0245.. without any blanket or leaf .. we sleep on the tar road with our soaked cloth !!! dam #$*#(* cold !!! shivering too death weh ~~ and we are not allow to bath although there is a toilet ..

DAY 5 - imagine yesterday we sleep at 0245 .. today must wake up at 0630 and hell will get worst ... today we will be doing LONG LONG distance jungle tracking ,there is from PD to ALAM (PD to melaka) .. STEAM !!! there are many thing happen along the journey .. lazy wanna write but the journey took us 3 hours of jungle tracking N 1 hour of TAR ROAD walking .. this is what i astimate the less and we are walking under the sun .. i can just pill skin from my head .. can u imagine how serious is the sunburn?

THIS IS NOT OVER YET !! b4 we go for our jungle tracking each of us receive a biscuit for us to 'protect' but end up i break it .. =.=' .. the punishment is .. 500 of physical traning exercise( i.e push up,sit up,star jump,squad jump,duck walk and so on) ... i cant feel my hand and leg and yet the hell is not over yet(still with my dirty smelly salty cloth) .. everyone must rolling from our hostel to the entrance of ALAM .. is around 50 meter i think .. is like going cockscrew for 100 of times .. lol.. DIZZY PEKAT !! every end at 0200hrs

Somehow this is really interesting. But need to build body to prepare for these.
