Maybe I like to know more than others. I have a desire to know everything in the world, but to keep it going is the hard one. I can be sure 100% you do not know 1% about this. So here I present you the oldest nominees in histories.

The oldest person to recieve an Academy Award nomination in an acting category is Gloria Stuart. She was 87 when she recieved a Best Supporting Actress nomination for Titanic (1997).

The oldest actor is recieve a nomination is Sir Ralph Richardson. The renowned British stage actor was 82 when he recieved a Best Supporting Actor nomination for his performance in Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes (1984).

The oldest woman to recieve a Best Actress nominaton is Jessica Tandy. She was 80 when she recieved a nomination for Driving Miss Daisy (1989). Tandy won the award.

The oldest man to gain a Best Actor nomination is Richard Farnsworth. He was 79 when nominated for The Straight Story (1999).
